How To grow daffodils in pots

You want the container to be deep enough to hold the bulbs.

If you want your bulbs to last a long time, choose a container with drainage holes and put some gravel or broken terracotta pots at the bottom.

Put the compost in half the pot and spread the bulbs evenly over the surface of the pot.

The space bulbs are about 5 cm apart, so they can be seen in a pot.

Compost and dress with mulch. It's a good idea to raise your pots on bricks or pot feet to make sure there's enough air to circulate.

Do not feed the daffodil bulbs if you keep the container in a dark, cool spot for about a year.

When the leaves appear, move the container into direct sunlight but still in a cool spot, and water if dry.
